Designed for high-energy activities in the warmer months, the Quito’s Nikwax Analogy Light fabric is renowned for its breathability as well as deflecting wind and rain.
Huge armpit zips further help you control body temperature. That said this was one of the warmest jackets we used, as it comes with a lining. Thankfully this doesn’t add massively to weight or bulk.
Among the Quito’s most notable features are a fully adjustable hood, two internal zipped pockets, single-hand adjustment throughout and a comfortable, tactile feel which you certainly don’t get with all shells. However, one gripe is that there aren’t any external pockets.
All said, a very versatile piece of kit suitable for a broad range of activities in a wide range of conditions.
