For mild spring and autumn days where a short sleeve isn't quite enough, this great value thermal long sleeve jersey proves to be a perfect fit in more ways than one. Close cut and stretchy it is a joy to wear on its own or over a thin baselayer, and we find it far warmer than expected based on how thin the material felt.
A full length zip is very welcome for ease of dressing, but also for ventilation options on the climbs, while the drop tail gives ample coverage at the back. On chillier days we would liketo see the collar a little higher to protect our neck, but in those conditions we tend to pull a windproof on anyway so it isn't a deal breaker in any way.
With a brushed inner face it is very comfortable indeed, and the styling seems to please all those who zip it on, while it is quite refreshing to see how discreet the branding is; just a tiny logo on the chest and rear pocket.
