The Sherpa Adventure Gear Tsepun Zip Tee is a very clever mid layer, twin constructed thermal tee.
It's made of two very different layers: the inner being a very quick-drying, specially designed polyester for moisture wicking, which is complemented perfectly by the exterior brushed nylon, for strength and durability.
While most thermals are so dull they're best hidden under a jacket or jumper, the Tsepun Zip Tee looks rather stylish, and you'll happily wear it as an alternative to a light weight jumper down the pub, we just wish they'd brighten the colours up a bit.
The silk smooth polyester inner works well next to the skin, but also sits perfectly over a merino base layer on colder days, or over a cycling top for a winter hack.
The brushed nylon outer, with a UPF rating of 50+, makes the Tsepun Zip Tee a wonderful outer top to wear when hiking in high mountains on bright sunny days; one that also works efficiently as a mid-layer when the temperature drops in the evenings.
We really liked the bonded zip chest pocket for securing essentials, which is often omitted from mid layer tops.
A very good mid-layer top, and at £50 it's a good price point for a quick drying alternative to a slower drying, merino mid layer - although not as warm as it's woollen counterpart.
