This is a remarkably good value budget bodywarmer from Result; it’s not especially stylish and is very burly and heavy, but at the price you really can’t knock those facts – some ski socks cost as much…
The outer fabric is water repellent and windproof and pleasantly soft to the touch, and the filling is Polyester 150g/m² hand filled padded polyester wadding which provides your torso with plenty of warmth, whilst the fleece lining adds to the snugness.
Features include a heavy duty full-length zip (ours was a little fiddly at times), two zipped handwarmer pockets and a zipped chest pocket (which a little bizarrely sits virtually under your armpit) plus a zipped inner pocket which in our sample opened up into the inner of the garment rather than an actual pocket – pretty poor quality control there...
There’s also a thin concealed hood in the outer collar and said collar along with armholes and hem all have adjustable shock cords so you can really seal in the warmth.
If you’re on a budget you won’t go far wrong with this product as long as you don’t mind the lack of attention to detail and don’t want to look like a catwalk model.
