The Fuera Ascent is made from Nikwax Windproof fabric and as such it’s designed to be used in conjunction with the company’s Nikwax Fleece and Nikwax Aftercare products (the latter to renew water repellency indefinitely).
It's is a very well-designed and user-friendly product – of the numerous excellent features the helmet compatible ergonomically designed hood is one of the best we’ve used, the pit zips are huge and give great venting and these and the zipped hand pockets are pack, harness and rope friendly.
The Fuera Ascent has clearly been designed thoughtfully and is intended to be used by serious outdoor types; it also comes at a great price, making it well worth checking out.
