Weighing in at 2.65kg this two-man tent is pretty good value although it is a – ahem – snug pack for two people; it's absolutely fine for one though.
It’s pretty easy to erect once you get the hang of sliding the three colour co-ordinated poles through the sleeves, and it goes up fly first so there’s no risk of getting the inner soaked in bad weather; you also have the option of using it as a superlight fly-only tent.
The Scorpion is very stable once pitched and the walls of the fly and inner remain well separated.
The sleek outer profile helps to deflect wind well, and our only real gripe was the lack of storage space - other than that a good value general purpose tent.
