Despite the name the Kilo comes in at a tad under 1kg and it’s hard to believe such a robust tent can be so light.
This is largely due to Easton’s sensational new Carbon ION poles, made from high-modulus superlight composites and featuring their excellent AirLock connectors which allow you to snap them together in seconds.
Erection is simple enough although you may find you require pretty much all the adjustment the guys will take to get the walls sufficiently taut.
Once up the Kilo is a tight squeeze for two people, but for one person it's great – plenty of room to manoeuvre and just enough space in the vestibule to store your gear.
