Forget soulless holiday parks - these hidden-gem campervan sites across the UK are made for hikers, climbers, runners, surfers, stargazers, and anyone chasing a wilder kind of road trip.

If the UK does one thing well (apart from cups of tea and talking about the weather), it’s serving up epic road trip adventures.

From the stunning highlands of Scotland to the surfy coves of Cornwall, this little island is bursting with campervan potential - think wild beaches, rugged hills, cosy pubs and more castles than you can shake a porta-potty at. (Pro tip: bring your sense of direction, a waterproof jacket... and your sense of humour.)

And the best way to explore it all? Jumping in your van, hitting the road and parking up at one of the best campervan sites in the UK, obvs.

Whilst we're big fans of quirky and unusual hotels, spending a night in a stuffy, overpriced hotel is always frustratingly underwhelming. Van life, on the other hand, is proper soul food. It's all about lazy breakfasts with a view, sunset beers by the van door, and wake-up calls courtesy of bleating sheep and crashing waves - not to mention some of the best sunrises you'll ever see, all from the front seat!

From clifftop hideaways to rugged mountain pitches, we’ve rounded up some of the best campervan sites in the UK where you can park your van (legally!), brew a cuppa, and soak up the coolest corners in good ole Blighty.
