Entertaining and educational bushcraft events and personalities at the all-inclusive event will include…

Major Les Hiddins - All the way from Australia, the ‘Bush Tucker Man’ will be at The Bushcraft Show 2015. You can hear the Australian Army soldier and Vietnam war veteran on the Main Stage and listen as he shares his love of the Australian bush and his skills and experience.

John ‘Lofty’ Wiseman – the author of The SAS Survival Handbook says he wouldn’t miss coming to The Bushcraft Show for the fifth year running! This survival expert led numerous operations including involvement with the SAS Counter-Terrorist Team that ended the Iranian Embassy siege in London and brought the SAS into the media spotlight. He also ran the SAS Survival School and trained the first members of the US Green Berets who returned to the USA to form the famous Delta Force (US Special Forces).

Wolves – Yes, there will even be wolves at The Bushcraft Show 2015 and this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk with these increasingly rare animals. Join a wolf hybrid pack, learn evolution, physiology, social structure, communication and conservation of the wolf, intricacy of social ranking and the subtle art of canine communication on a magical walk through the woodlands as part of the pack.

Andrew Price – ITV’s Coast & Country Presenter, owner of Dryad Bushcraft, Bushcraft and Survival Instructor and experienced practitioner of a wide range of outdoor pursuits will be speaking at The Bushcraft Show.

Colonel John Blashford-Snell OBE – We also have one of the world’s most renowned and highly respected explorers. Former British Army Officer, explorer and author Blashford-Snell is coming along to share his adventures and expedition advice on Sunday 24th May 2015.

In addition, there are many leading bushcraft, wildlife, woodland craft and survival experts speaking, demonstrating, instructing and on hand at the show for a chat.

Finnish Camp – A great new area at The Bushcraft Show 2015 this camp is totally devoted to teaching Finnish wilderness skills, using and seeing Finnish bushcraft products and hearing Finnish stories. Find out how the ‘new’ Loue-shelter was made and the astonishing story of how the traditional design was found after the original shelter sat undiscovered in a rucksack in a museum. Use a Finnish skillet and cook your own lunch with a selection of ingredients including reindeer meat. Then, relax at the end of the day in a spacious and comfortable Finnish sauna tent for up to 15 people. You can even make your own Finnish Vihta (Vasta in eastern Finland), a leafy bunch of Birch that is used to gently beat the skin to massage and stimulate it, also having a relaxing effect on your muscles.

Joppe Ranta – Finnish Outdoors TV personality, writer for Finnish Outdoors Magazine – Retki and member of the Finnish Wilderness Skills Association will be on hand to teach these skills and share his knowledge.

“It’s going to be an amazing weekend!” says Simon Ellar show organiser, "We have created a show that cannot be experienced anywhere else, with such talented and skilled outdoors people gathered together in one place to learn from one another and most importantly, have fun! We specifically placed the show in the half-term week to open up the event to families. As a father of four, it is important to me that the show includes as many children’s activities as possible to encourage children to learn new bushcraft skills and increase their love of the outdoors, moving them away from indoor activities, which usually involve technology. Activities and demonstrations are running throughout the whole weekend and with most of them included in the price of your ticket, it really is great value for money!"

The Bushcraft Show has a new location at the breathtaking and privately owned Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes site, ideally situated in the centre of England, in the heart of the National Forest.
