The panel of judges at OutDoor 2015 look for the most innovative, trend-setting products and ideas to award the coveted titles to. They felt that the Uneeks were just that, saying;

Keen products are known for their robust functionality and versatility, and the Uneek sandals continue that trend.
“Creating a shoe as unconventional as Uneek represents our irreverent way of thinking when it comes to design and comfort, while keeping true to the hybrid versatility in our DNA,” said Rory Fuerst, Jr., Keen innovation program lead. “We wanted to create a truly new fit experience and are delighted that the hard work of all of the production, design and development team has been recognised by such an important accolade as the Gold Award”.
The Uneeks feature a free-moving cord structure and a lightweight PU midsole as well as an anatomical microfiber footbed, a secure fit lace capture system and a soft microfiber heel back.
Keen are looking to build on the success of the Uneeks with a new range of styles in a wide variety of colours and patterns launching in early 2016.
