If you’re sick of staring at the same four walls after seemingly endless lockdowns, not to mention working from home, peel yourself off the sofa and head to the Lake District on 25 – 26 September for the inaugural Arc'teryx Academy, Climb Lake District Edition.
What is it?
Although the focus of the weekend is on climbing, there are many other meaty outdoor pastimes to attend to, with trail running, wild swimming yoga and wild camping all on the cards.
Who is it for?
The event is great for all levels, whether you’re dipping your toe into wild swimming or you’re already an accomplished climber there will be a clinic or class to suit you.
Where is it?
Set up around a base camp in Ambleside the event plays host to a number of brand partners ready and willing to provide demo gear, all for free.
There’s also a chance to relax on the Friday night with a movie at the Epicentre and BBQ on Saturday night at The Sticklebarn.
