Designed specifically for fast and light hiking the Keen Marshall features a waterproof upper with closed mesh for breathability, and attractive leather overlays for durability and to help preserve the dynamic fit of the shoes.
A sturdy, high-rebound PU midsole offers great energy return as you’re walking and there’s excellent arch support and cushioning from the full-length shank, whilst the rugged and sticky high-traction outsole provides good grip and stability.
The Marshall is also relatively light, and whilst its idiosyncratic looks won’t appeal to everyone (Keen’s instantly recognisable patented toe protector obviously features heavily in the design) if you like the look of them they’re worth checking out for their instant comfort and versatility – I can see the Marshall being worn as much for walks to the pub or around the park as along the trail.
