With a fill weight of 800g of fully synthetic Primaloft Black, and rated for 'comfort' at 0 C - with an extreme rating of -22, the Arctic 800 is built for comfort on cold nights.
But where this sleeping bag really shines is its ability to keep you warm when it's cold and wet outside - which is a challenge we British campers know all about.
Firstly it does this with its choice of synthetic Primaloft insulation, which although water resistant insulates even when wet.
Secondly, the head and foot sections of the Arctic 800 are water proof to protect the sleeping bag from wet tent walls - a feature which is particularly useful for tall campers.
Warmth is enhanced by a mummy-shaped cut, which narrows from its maximum width of 80cm at the shoulders, to 55cm at the feet.
This more efficient shape also cuts the weight down to a total of 1.25kg including the carry sack. Even more weight can be shaved if you leave the 150g sack behind and use the waterproof foot box as a packsack instead.
Other heat-saving features included a hood opening which can be cinched down to a hold the size of your mouth, and a thermal collar, which can be fastened around your neck to further decrease the main section which you will need to heat with your body warmth.
Although the bag is 2.2m long, a draw cord in the foot of the bag can be tightened to shorter the bag for smaller people or to create a warm, dry foot to the bag for clothes and footwear.
Left or right zipper versions are available.
