A cracking, compact light with a versatile mounting and USB charging, great for all aspects of bikepacking
Care has to be taken not to lose the mounting hardware when not in use!

This massively versatile little light lends itself perfectly to bikepacking life. Weighing in at only 110g for the tiny head unit and USB rechargeable battery it comes with, not only a bike mount, but excellent headtorch band and helmet fixings all of which are easily swapped in seconds. In the tent the head unit can be clipped directly onto the battery for a free-standing light too.

At only 250 lumens it is bright enough to bike on straightforward trails and roads rather than technical or fast mountain biking where more firepower would be needed. As a headtorch it is superb, with the wide band stable enough for trail running, with no bounce. Small panels glow red on either side of the head unit for a bit of welcome added visibility.

On full bore it will run for an impressive 4 hours, but around camp on the lowest setting you will get 30 hours. There is even a 7 lumen reading mode that will last 150 hours. And all in a cracking, practical little package. We used it for several nights camping, largely on the perfectly useable 50 lumen low setting, boosted to high when necessary, and the 4 stage green/amber/red/flashing battery gauge was still glowing green when we returned.

Of course, being USB chargeable it can be topped up with a dynamo when on the move, phone charger in the car or cafe, or even from a power bank if you have one tucked into your pack.
