Titanium is a cracking material for adventure bikes - it has enough spring to drown out harsh trail buzz while giving long term fatigue strength and corrosion free peace of mind. It may not be field repairable like a good old steel number, but it is less likely to need attention in the long run.
At less than £2000 for a fully built bike, the Camino Ti is a bit of a steal, getting you all these advantages without cutting too many corners on the componentry. The one piece carbon fork is a work of art, and both it, and the rear triangle are suitable for either 700C 44mm tyres or up to 48mm if you go 650b - it's always nice to have the option for different applications.
The frame is liberally sprinkled with rack and bottle cage mounts, meaning it's not only a fun and fast commuter or day tripper, it can also easily be pressed into more serious, multi-day use as an expedition mule.
The SRAM 1x11 Rival 1 drivetrain and hydraulic brakes are a tried and tested combination, and having seen many miles of trouble free use from us we feel it's an excellent choice. But don't forget Sonder are happy to swap out any component you would like at the build stage, if you want a shorter stem or have a personal preference for saddles, just say the word.
Verdict: Impressive for the price all round.
