New for 2018, the Osprey Rolling Transporter 120L is a top quality kit bag with a semi hard base, wheels and a small retractable handle, making it perfect for navigating airports, pavements and even virtually all travel scenarios.

Constructed from very tough 840D Double Coated Nylon TPU, the bag's outer is as waterproof as any zip opening bag on the market. The massive, almost full top opening allows easy access and packing, and has a strong chunky zip which is well covered against the elements by a flap held snug by two corner straps.

The wheels of the Osprey's HighRoad™ chassis are big and stable, making it easy to cross rough ground and up curbs. When standing upright on the chassis, the bag is going nowhere and will literally take a flying rugby tackle to knock it over. There's also a handy zipped pocket at the handle end which will take a tablet, passport, snacks...

There are many large grab handles all over the bag, making it unmissable on the airport carousel and very easy for two people to carry the bag at the same time.

Being 120 litres, the Osprey Transporter 120 will take a serious amount of kit. Inside the pack, there are mesh pockets for easy organisation of essential gear to stop you losing everything, and straps to stop kit movement if not stuffed full.

We packed it with a 4 person tent, 4 Thermarest sleeping mats and 4 2 season sleeping bags and it still wasn't quite full; but be warned if travelling by air as it's long, at 97cm, and when empty it's checking in at almost 4kg. Having said that it's also available as 40L and 90L, with the 40L Rolling Transporter fitting on most European and worldwide airlines as carry-on baggage, and the 90 easily conforming to all standard checked luggage dimensions.

While the Osprey 120 is perfect for civilised travel, it's also just as at home on expedition, easily being tough enough to be strapped onto a bus roof or the side of a mule.

It's a one stop kit Tardis.
