The EnduroX sunglasses are part of Dragon's new X-Performance range which focuses on high intensity sports. The classic semi-rimless sport frame comes with interchangeable individual lenses and rubberised arms which fit well under a cycling helmet without any noticeable catching or snagging on the retention system.
Lens options range from tinted to the adaptive Transitions lenses supplied with ours which adjust to varying light conditions and work brilliantly well giving you optimum visibility in anything from bright morning sunshine to overcast British afternoons. Lenses are interchangeable, a process which is very quick and easy, you simply pull down and away from the frame and reverse the process to fit the replacements.
Venting across the top of the lenses and along the bridge helps to reduce fogging on the move and the addition of an anti-fog coating makes them pretty much idiot proof, if you do happen to cast your breath across the lenses they only take a second or so to completely clear.
The lenses are also designed to repel oil, water, smudges, and scratches. In practice it takes a pretty heavy downpour to overwhelm them, if this does happen they can be wiped clean without any trace using anything from a bare finger to a grubby glove.
Dragon provide you with a soft pouch as well as a zipped hard case, the hard case is pretty sturdy and durable and there's plenty of space inside for the sunglasses as well as an additional pair of lenses and a lens cleaning cloth
The price of the Enduro X's varies depending on the lens choice but we'd highly recommend spending the extra to get the Transitions lenses.
