The Bell Event helmet provides comfortable protection at a great price. The no-nonsense design translates to a light weight and ease of use that's quite refreshing.
The low profile in-mould polycarbonate shell has 22 vents which work effectively to help keep your head cool. Bell's TAG fit system ensures a rock solid yet comfortable fit using the adjustment wheel which adjusts to the head on two axes.
The decent fit system, light weight of 290g and effective vents combine to give a really comfortable, non-intrusive experience to wearing the helmet, the only thing possibly missing is a soft chin strap but it's not noticeable enough to be a problem.
The looks are non-offensive, neither erring on the racey nor the gritty end of the spectrum which will appeal to a lot of people who don't want to sit in a specific bike sized pigeon hole.
Overall, at this price you'd be hard pushed to find something that does the job better than the Bell Event.
